Blackpool Tower
Blackpool Tower used to be much nicer than it is now. Now the staff are rude, the food tastes horrible and overall, it is expensive. I liked the 4D cinema though, it was very good. Only go there if you have lots of money that you want to spend and are with a large group of people, as that makes it much more enjoyable.

Europe's Biggest Rollercoaster
Go to the Blackpool pleasure beach and ride this rollercoaster - what a rush! Amazing. It is called the 'Pepsi Max Big One' and you can see it for miles - ever from the motorway. The Pleasure Beach itself is vast and everytime I thought that was it, we'd turn a corner and find even more rides. You could spend days here, and the queues weren't even that bad.

Views from the Blackpool Tower
The Blackpool Tower is over 500 feet tall and is quite a sight, on the Promenade. It is a bit like the Eiffel Tower and at night is illuminated in typical Blackpool fashion. You can travel up to almost the very top by a lift, which actually feels a little unsafe and is perhaps not the greatest idea if you're not very good with heights. However, the views of the beachfront are lovely. Downstairs is a godo circus which has been running here for years. There is also a large ballroom and even an aquarium.

The Pepsi Max Big One Rollercoaster at Blackpool
When it opened in 1994, the Pepsi Max Big One Rollercoaster at Blackpool was not only the world's biggest rollercoaster, but the world's fastest. So, when we came here we were desperate to see what all the fuss was about. I've been on a lot of rollercoasters and I didn't think this was as scary as I though it might be, but it was pretty fab. The climb at the beginning is very slow and allows you to look all across the Pleasure beach, before you plummet down 200 feet and start screaming...
