(Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK)

Picture showing the Hilton HotelWith more than 2,600 hotels and guesthouses providing almost 100,000 beds, accommodation in Blackpool is big business, extremely competitive and usually extremely good value for money. Accommodation varies from four-star luxury hotels along Blackpool's seafront, to more homely and family run bed and breakfasts. The town is also home to a wealth of self-catering accommodation and a number of large caravan parks.

Even though hotels are so plentiful in Blackpool, it is also worth booking ahead during the busiest periods and especially at the time of the world-famous illuminations.

Where to Stay

Amongst the best places to stay in town, both Albert Road and Hornby Road contain a good selection of hotels and B&Bs, just 300 metres / 985 feet from the seafront and close to the Blackpool Tower, a number of pubs and several top nightspots.

Blackpool is a cheap place for a holiday and is often the destination for stag and hen nights, with many hotels being happy to accommodate large groups of men or women.

The most centrally located hotels are never far from the action and some of the best nightclubs are located along Bankhey Street, Church Street, Dickson Road and the North Parade.
